Hey folks, I hope all is well Just keeping you all in the loop with the latest info happenings in the land of DamonDowns........................
It has been an interesting year so far for me and the band, we have undergone many forms, had ups and downs, played some fantastic venues and met some great people. The one thing that never changes is my inexhaustible passion to write and perform(I just secretly enjoy keeping the guys busier!). We are drawing to the end of the year and towards the end of this tour but it’s been one hell of a ride! Be sure that we’ll still have a few gigs around Christmas and will start being busy again after the new year, plus there is yet to be an album release and the start of some new recordings, I love it!
‘Talors Red Guitar‘ Update The mixing is now completed for the album and is soon to go to mastering within the month! Un-mastered versions will be available on the Websiteand Myspace but be sure to be in touch to buy the CD version once it’s available. (Digital distribution will also be available, itunes etc)
‘The Retreat’ available online 2006 ‘The Retreat’ album is now available to buy online and can be found at Napster, iTunes, Emusic and most other online distributers.
New Material So, demo’s of songs are available on the Myspace page ( www.myspace.com/dsdowns ) Recordings will start for the new material over the coming months as location and studio have been picked. With a more acoustic atmospheric sound and pop happenings we’ll be sure to meet the venture head on, with drive!!!! I’m hoping to get into the studio around November for this project. |
